Last 2010, the history of the world sports wrote again, the Singapore took bid to be the host of the very-first Youth Summer Olympic games. We took as the first debut on this prestigious event in the world.
But our Philippine youth contingents not able to get any medal as our first debut in the history of Philippine sports. As the 2014 second summer Olympic games in Nanjing, China, will the Philippines take the line to cast out world youth contingents? Let's see.
And, how do we prepare for this?
In Basketball, our boys got stunt to be in the 9th place of the Men's Basketball Team. Last 2010, we drew 4-3 standing on the tournament: lost to Virgin Islands (28-34), Spain (25-27) and Croatia (19-22) and won against South Africa (26-12), Central African Republic (22-13), Iran (28-19) and Puerto Rico (34-23).
Cris Tolomia, Bobby Parks, Jeron Teng and Michael Pate need to be improve, they more recruit boys to represent our flag in Basketball. Actually, they are skilled shooters, but they need to improve on defense and offense stock, so that, we can ready to face big names in Basketball such as China, Spain, Serbia, USA etc.
For the Swimming, Jessie Lacuna and Jasmine Alkhaldi needs to improve their speed and endurance. Endurance is especially needed even when you have a speed, when your endurance was disappeared, your speed were able to dis advance.
And to the rest, have their good game play last 2010. Especially to our contingent in Tennis, Taekwondo and Weightlifting.
For the Football, the PFF (Philippine Football Federation), need to acquire more teen talents, that's why Teen Azkals was established. Or else, our Under 14 can be summon, as the same for the women's team.
For the Baseball, throw our youth contingents. You know, our youth battlers were not able to qualify in the world cup. But never say die, on this event were to cape our battling skills.

Confidently Yes!!!! We can make a run on 2014 Youth Olympic games but, these improvements were not enough to motivate them, government has the responsibility to give and support every their training and giving good facilities and the important is your support.
